My new work explores metamorphosis through salvaged materials, where rusty metal, repurposed fibers, found objects, and natural forms become quiet witnesses to resilience and memory. I am drawn to materials that have weathered, frayed, and endured, allowing their histories to remain visible rather than concealed.

Working intuitively, I create sculptural assemblages that inhabit the space between the human body and the natural world. Portraits, anatomical forms, nests, eggs, roots, and botanical elements emerge as metaphors rather than fixed narratives, inviting multiple interpretations. Rusted metal shifts between cage, scaffold, nest, and root system, while soft fibers suggest growth, vulnerability, and repair.

Rather than illustrating a single story, I am interested in what survives through change. My work asks how memory becomes embedded in both the body and the landscape, and how transformation can preserve, rather than erase, what came before. I hope these pieces encourage viewers to slow down, embrace ambiguity, and consider beauty not as perfection, but as evidence of lives continually shaped by time.
