In this new series, I draw from rich childhood memories of exploring outside and experiencing the natural world around me. By fusing fiber techniques with rusty outdoor fencing, I transform sensory impressions into assemblages and sculptures that express a strong sense of time, place and personal story. My artistic practice is rooted in intuition coupled with a deep connection to nature and all living things.
